Client context your engineers can find.
IT services and managed service teams keep runbooks, client-specific decisions and incident history across tickets, repositories, chat and docs. Memora helps engineers find how something was set up for a client, and why, with links to the sources.
Why is the Acme staging database on a separate VPC from production?
Answer
It was split after a 2025 incident where a staging migration affected production. The change was agreed in the incident thread, tracked in OPS-311 and implemented in the infrastructure pull request.

The challenge.
Important knowledge exists — it is just spread across systems, versions and people.
Every client is different
Each account has its own setup, exceptions and history, and engineers rotating between accounts can't remember all of it.
Handoffs lose context
When a project moves between teams or shifts, the reasoning behind past changes often stays with whoever made them.
Incident fixes get rediscovered
Fixes for recurring problems are buried in old tickets and threads, so the same investigation happens more than once.
What Memora provides.
Client history in one answer
Ask about a client environment and get an answer linked to the tickets, pull requests, threads and documents where it was discussed.
Separation by permission
Memora follows the permissions in your connected tools, so engineers only get answers from the client projects, channels and repositories they can already access.
In practice.
Examples of questions teams ask Memora day to day.
Client environment questions
Find how a client's environment was configured and the discussion behind it.
Ask Memora“What did we agree with Acme about their backup schedule?”
Incident history
See how similar incidents were handled before, with links to the tickets and threads.
Ask Memora“Have we seen this certificate renewal failure on any client before?”
Project handoffs
Give the incoming team the decisions and reasoning from the previous phase.
Ask Memora“What were the open decisions when the Globex migration was handed over?”
In depth
Why client knowledge is hard to keep track of
IT services firms and managed service providers work across many client environments at once. Each one has its own configuration, exceptions and history, recorded in tickets, repositories, chat channels and documents.
When an engineer picks up an unfamiliar account, or a project changes hands, the quickest way to understand a past decision is usually to ask whoever made it. That stops working as people rotate or leave.
How Memora helps
Memora connects the tools where this history already lives and lets engineers ask questions in plain language. Each answer links to the tickets, pull requests, threads and documents it was built from, so engineers can check the original before acting on it.
What Memora doesn't do
Memora isn't a monitoring, ticketing or configuration-management tool. It doesn't read live system state, so an answer reflects what your team recorded, not necessarily what's running right now. Always check the current configuration before making changes.
Security and data handling
Memora encrypts data at rest and in transit, follows the permissions in your connected tools and never uses your content to train AI models. Read the full details on the security page.
