Connect Linear to Memora

Linear is the tool of choice for modern engineering teams to manage cycles, issues, and product roadmaps. Integrating Linear with Memora allows your AI search and team agents to understand technical progress, issue resolution timelines, and project milestones.

Step-by-Step Connection Guide

To connect your Linear workspace with Memora, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Linear Open your browser and log in to your Linear Account.

2. Navigate to API Settings Go to your avatar menu in the bottom-left corner → Workspace Settings → Security & API. Alternatively, go directly to linear.app/settings/api.

3. Generate a Personal API Key

   • Scroll down to the Personal API Keys section.
   • Click Create Key or Generate New Key.
   • Name your key (e.g., Memora Integration).
   • Copy the generated API key (it starts with lin_api_).

4. Paste into Memora

   • Go to your Memora Dashboard → Integrations → Linear.
   • Paste the Personal API Key.
   • Select the desired sync options (Sync Issues, Cycles, and Projects).
   • Click Connect & Sync.

Data Synchronized

When connected, Memora securely indexes:

• Teams: Team names, keys, and descriptions.
• Issues: Titles, body descriptions, comments, priority, status, assignee, and labels.
• Cycles: Current, past, and upcoming cycles with start and end dates.
• Projects: Project names, milestones, roadmaps, and descriptions.
